With a trust rating of 52.87% across 15 of the 30 categories we investigated, PCWorld ranks in the 86th percentile among broad publications. It reached the top five in computer mice and VPN categories, while earning passing trust ratings in Printers and Routers. We found fake testing in three categories: computer monitors, speakers, and soundbars. Based on its testing practices and overall trust rating, PCWorld earned a “Fake Tester” classification. The publication generates revenue through clear affiliate disclosures and sponsored content while maintaining an ad-free environment and operating a branded store.
