Consensus
our Verdict
Reviewers adored the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ II, approving it for podcasts, music, and the outdoors. Experts at CNET lauded its waterproof, dustproof IP55 design. However, golf enthusiasts should check out our Bushnell Wingman review for a specialty golf-course model. Analysts from Tech Advisor UK hailed its 57.4Hz to 176.5 kHz frequency response range with a well-balanced -0.37 slope. The bass is okay for movies but not heavy enough for some EDM music enthusiasts. Featuring a 360° design and low 1.66 dB directivity index, this device has an excellent soundstage, although it lacks stereo. See our Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia review if you need stereo computer speakers. The Revolve+ works with various smartphone voice assistants. It has a good 62 ms iOS Bluetooth latency and 66 ms Android latency. Testers loved its speakerphone functions and good 87.0 dB maximum SPL, although the 3.44 dB DRC indicates some audio-quality deterioration at the maximum volume. The speaker has a sub-par 8.5-hour battery life and lacks a graphic EQ.
