The Shark AI Robot vacuum cleaner was announced in 2020 as an entry-level option capable of easily maneuvering under furniture thanks to its low profile.
Its battery lasts up to 203 minutes before the next charge if used on Eco mode, which, as you’ll find out in our Shark Anti Allergen Pet Power review, is a lot higher than most.
When switched to Max mode, its powerful battery still delivers an impressive 90 minutes of runtime, which is ideal for cleaning medium to large size spaces.
It also ranks highly in our best shark robotic vacuum review for its low noise output since it only produces about 63.6 decibels.
The Shark AI Robot was praised by top testers for its impressive maneuverability. Product reviewers from Rtings liked how it could clean through row-by-row patterns.
Their test results also showed that it cleaned bare floors well, clearing up to 85% of large and 98% of small debris. Specialists appreciated how easy it was to remote pilot through the SharkClean app.
They could switch between cleaning modes, schedule cleaning times, and create no-go zones to prevent it from going where it shouldn’t.
However, the Shark AI doesn’t come with a HEPA filter, and this is also true with the Samsung Powerbot R7040 (check out our Samsung Powerbot R7040 review for more similarities).
They also didn’t like its carpet performance, as it could only clean up 65% and 35% of large and small debris. Its pet hair pick-up was also not as good as what we found out in our Shark EZ Robot Self Empty AV911S review, picking up 56% and 61% of pet hair on high and low pile carpet.
