The LG S75Q is a top-tier soundbar first made available in 2022. The soundbar features fantastic Dolby Atmos audio support, and owners will be able to stream their audio content through Bluetooth (not Chromecast, Apple AirPlay, or WiFi).
Like most of the best speakers in the market, it also has an EQ adjustment feature that allows users to customize its sound to their preferences. The soundbar ships with a sub-par subwoofer, but its soundstage is decent since it can project sound well across a mid-sized room.
It also gets as loud as 92.5 dB and can fill large, open living rooms with sound. Its connectivity options may not match those of the best soundbars in the market, but they’re decent since they include an Optical port, a HDMI ARC port, a Full HDMI in port, and a USB port for playing content directly from a USB drive.
Top-tier testers adore the LG S75Q for its support for Dolby Atmos for immersive movie-watching, plus its ability to reproduce dialogue-focused content accurately and pegged this to its dialogue-focused center channel (out of its 3.1.2 channel setup), which emphasizes vocals when listening to podcasts, audiobooks, music, or TV shows.
Rtings liked that it had a loud max volume for filling up large, open rooms and that it also had EQ presets plus bass and treble adjustments for sound customization. They also complimented its good latency performance as both audio and video output were fully in sync during testing.
The soundbar also supports a wide range of sound formats and is versatile in the kind of digital content it can play.
Consumer Reports described its sound quality as good overall and felt that its bass depth was boomy but not enough to impress those who enjoy bass-heavy music.
