Sony X950H is one of the best TVs of the year, according to both critics and buyers. Its fantastic peak brightness will make any movie watcher happy, especially in a dark room. But there isn’t much that’s changed, in terms of design, from previous models.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The X950H is Sony’s flagship TV series released in 2020. It promises vast improvements to the soundstage, so those who enjoy nights hosting a viewing party will find the crisp, clear audio a huge selling point.
It accomplishes this thanks to its X-Balanced speaker which spreads sound across a room evenly and greatly improves the audio. It also possesses a high-quality picture with crisp colors pre and post-calibrations.

Consensus
our Verdict
The Sony X950H is a great television that will make any movie watcher happy, thanks to its fantastic peak brightness, especially in a dark room.
There isn’t really much that’s changed, in terms of design, from previous year’s models, though, and the viewing angles could be better. But despite that, it’s still one of Sony’s best LED TVs of the year, and now with improved audio too!
ReasonS to Buy
- Fantastic Peak Brightness
- Great Improvements in the Audio
- Excellent Picture Quality
Reason to Avoid
- Bad Viewing Angles
