Consensus

our Verdict

The Samsung HW Q60C offers a dependable connection via Optical, Full HDMI, and ARC, and its wireless subwoofer allows for flexible placement. There are no disturbing audio noises, and fairly good latency minimizes lag.

The soundstage is relatively narrow, and watching action sequences is disappointing due to poor downmixed surround content. It has Dolby Atmos support, but it’s not immersive. Dialogue delivery is sharp due to its detailed mid-range, the lead instruments sound distinct, and the extra bass injects some satisfying boom into the audio. The remote features buttons for customized sound adjustment, and while the bar feels sturdy, its thin outer covering tends to attract dust. It also offers responsive input commands and a 7-band graphic EQ but lacks an app for seamless operation.
