Consensus
our Verdict
Top experts love the JBL PartyBox 300, and they endorse it for parties, music, and podcasts. Testers at PCMag lauded its excellent 18.3-hour battery life. Experts at The Gadgeteer praised its dual-device Bluetooth pairing, although the 198 ms iOS Bluetooth latency and 176 ms Android Bluetooth latency were high. Testing revealed a very loud 103.3 dB maximum SPL and very low 0.33 dB DRC, so it maintains the audio quality very well even at the highest volume. Reviewers liked its mic/guitar ports. They adored its 55.0Hz to 18.0kHz frequency response range, and the 3.37 dB standard error shows a well-balanced sound profile. However, it has a high 6.71 dB directivity index, featuring a poor soundstage, although it supports stereo. See our JBL PartyBox 110 review if you require a wider soundstage. The PartyBox 110 doesn’t have voice assistant features or an EQ. Weighing 35.1 lbs during testing, this system is not portable, although it has wheels, and it’s not water-resistant.
