The Klipsch The Three II speaker is a high-end Bluetooth speaker that was first announced in early 2019. The speaker has a modern, mid-century-inspired design and feels great to touch, thanks to its excellent quality. Like most top-tier speakers, it can play stereo content and has decent Bluetooth connectivity with low latency for iOS and Android devices. This means it can be used to play music and videos without any lag, and its wide range of port inputs also sets it apart from most of the best Bluetooth speakers on the market since many of them only focus on wireless connectivity. The speaker has an AUX port, a USB-B port, and a Phono/Line switch that can be used to connect it to a turntable if need be, but it isn’t really meant for use with a computer. If you’re looking for speakers that would be ideal for this, check out our Klipsch Promedia 2-1 review.

The Klipsch The Three II Bluetooth speaker delighted expert testers with its aged design, stereo output, and also how loud it could get. Reviewers liked that it had various options for wired inputs; however, its missing WiFi connectivity and lack of speakerphone and voice assistant functionality was disappointing.

Consensus
our Verdict
Expert testers praised the Klipsch The Three II speaker for its vintage design, rich port selection, and low latency over Bluetooth connections. Product reviewers from Rtings also liked how loud it got and were impressed that it had a stereo output. They also appreciated that even though it doesn’t come with a companion app as the Sonos One Gen 2 does (which we’ve covered in our Sonos One Gen 2 review), it was easy to use and had a variety of wired options for users to consider. Reviewers from Crackling Sound were satisfied with its bass response; however, they noted that the speaker was designed for indoor use and had poor portability. An alternative for users who want to move around with their sound would be the Kove Commuter 2, which we’ve covered in our Kove Commuter 2 review.
The Klipsch The Three II also had other drawbacks, as testers complained about its lack of WiFi connectivity, its missing speakerphone function, and voice assistant support.
