The Samsung Jet 70 Pet was lauded for its intricate filtration system and its performance on bare floors and carpets. Reviewers were happy with the convenience of a display and its three power settings, but they didn’t appreciate its inability to clean wet spills and stains.
Announced in 2021, the Samsung Jet 70 Pet is a top-tier stick vacuum that boasts a 40-minute runtime. Weighing only 5.93 pounds, it is very easy to maneuver, and it also comes with an anti-allergy True HEPA filter that removes 99.999% of allergens from the air.
Its lack of recurring costs makes it one of the best vacuum cleaners for low-cost maintenance since the HEPA filter is long-lasting and will only need to be replaced in case of a decrease in performance.
The stick vacuum also doesn’t get very disruptive since it has a reasonably low noise output of 68 decibels. When switched to its highest level, the Jet 70 has a maximum suction force of up to 1.73 kPa, and its 0.5-liter dirt canister also matches that of other Shark models, as is evident in our Shark Allergen Pet Power Vacuum review.
It also ships with a mini motorized tool, a crevice tool, a combination soft bristle brush, and an upholstery tool.
Consensus
our Verdict
Critics praised the Samsung Jet 70 Pet for its unique five-stage filtration system, which resulted in great air quality after vacuuming. Testers at Rtings were pleased that the Jet 70 shipped with a washable HEPA filter, a cyclone filter, and a microfilter.
They also liked that it had exceptional bare floor performance, cleaning up to 99% of large and small debris. It was also great on rugs, as it cleared 85% and 80% of large debris on high and low pile carpets consecutively.
Reviewers from The Axo also liked that it had a display to view the power setting they used. The Jet 70 Pet offers three power settings to choose from and is, therefore, more versatile compared to others, as you’ll see in our Simplicity S65S review
However, the Samsung Jet 70 Pet also has its share of drawbacks, as testers confirmed that it could not be used to suck up liquid spills and that it performs pretty poorly on stain cleaning.
