The Simplicity S65S delighted testers with how well it could clean bare floors and high pile rugs and pleased them with its portability. They liked that its dirt canister was easy to empty but were disappointed with its low suction force, mediocre build quality, and limited attachment tools.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The Simplicity S65S is an entry-level cordless vacuum that was released in 2021. Like many of the best vacuum cleaners, it comes with an anti-allergen HEPA filter that traps particles that are up to 0.3 microns in size, and at a weight of only 5.29 pounds, it is almost the same weight as the Tineco PURE ONE X Tango vacuum (See what else they have in common through our Tineco PURE ONE X Tango review.)
The S65S also has a 0.5-liter dirt canister that is slightly larger than the 0.4-liter dirt compartment on the Shark Vertex UltraLight Corded, as you’ll find out in our Shark Vertex UltraLight Corded review.
Its battery can last up to 29 minutes, and with a noise level of only 72.1 decibels, the S65S is not likely to cause any disruption. Users will also know just how much battery life is remaining through its onboard battery indicator and pick between its two speed modes depending on the amount of suction power needed.
Consensus
our Verdict
The Simplicity S65S had reviewers quite pleased with how portable it was and how easy it was to maneuver. Product reviewers from Rtings liked that it had a rotating head for cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
They also liked its easy-to-empty dirt canister, which, as you’ll see in our Samsung Jet 70 Pet review, had the same capacity as the Samsung Jet 70 Pet.
During their tests, it cleared 89% and 99% of large and small debris from bare floors and 86% and 63% of large and small debris from high pile carpets Experts from Best Cordless Vacuum Guide were also delighted with its responsive steering since the nozzle on the S65S could turn 90-degrees.
However, reviewers admitted that the suction force on the S65S was low at 0.48 kPa. They were also disappointed with its limited array of attachment tools, as the S65S only shipped with a crevice cleaner and an upholstery tool.
