As experts found out, the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus is an excellent pick for users who want to eliminate pet hair from low and high-pile carpets. Its biggest downfall was its low suction force, which was terrible for cleaning stains and picking up debris.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus is a mid-tier cordless vacuum cleaner announced in 2020. Like many of the best vacuum cleaners on the market, it features an anti-allergy HEPA filter, which happens to be missing on the popular Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro.
It also has a decent-sized 0.85-liter dirt compartment, which empties from the bottom. Its 24.6 ft cord length allows for easy maneuverability, and since it also has a rotating head, it can be used to clean tight spaces.
The upright vacuum has a fairly low noise level, with an output of about 75.1 decibels on its highest setting. Owners will also be able to switch between two suction control settings, and it is also unique in the sense that users can opt for a Febreze-scented pre-motor vacuum filler to eliminate foul odors when cleaning.
Consensus
our Verdict
The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus had reviewers from Rtings quite pleased with how well it could eliminate pet hair thanks to its tangle-free brush roll. It cleared 95% and 97% of pet hair from high pile and low pile carpets, respectively.
They also admitted that even though its 0.85 dirt compartment isn’t as big as the 1.5-liter dirt tank that the Eureka FloorRover Elite NEU630 is equipped with, it was see-through, so owners would know when to empty it.
Reviewers from Popular Vacuums loved its 12-inch cleaning width, as this allowed them to clean large areas quickly during their experiments
Unfortunately, reviewers weren’t delighted with the Pet Hair Eraser’s low suction force of 0.18 kPa, as they felt this was much lower compared to the Bissell Aeroslim, which has a power rating of 96.35AW.
They also didn’t like its inability to clean stains and pick up large debris on bare floors, as it could only pick up 35% of large debris.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus is not as easy to maintain as the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet is. It also has a HEPA filter that is not present on the CleanView Swivel Pet, and with a noise level of 75.1 dB, it is way quieter than the Swivel Pet’s 84.3 dB. However, the Swivel Pet has a larger 1-liter dirt compartment compared to the Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus’s 0.85-liter dirt bin and a longer cord length of 26.9 ft compared to the Swivel Pet’s 24.6 ft.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus features an Anti-allergen HEPA filter, which is missing on the Black+Decker AdvencedClean+ Pet vacuum. However, the Black+Decker vacuum is much more portable since it is cordless and weighs 2.78 pounds compared to the Bissel cleaner, which weighs 14.11 pounds.
