The Hisense U8G produces fantastic color and details, and exceptional brightness. It has an excellent variable refresh rate (120Hz) and low input lag. But the viewing angles are one issue that you will have.

Overview

The Hisense U8G is Hisense’s mid-level TV released in 2021. The TV boasts a bright and colorful display with fantastic contrast and high refresh, which makes it great for gamers and action-movie watchers alike.

Unfortunately, images moving too fast are subject to some underwhelming motion smoothing. However, its support for Dolby Vision makes it one of the brightest TVs, at an average of 722 nits, available today.

The Hisense U8G is a great pick for gamers, with its low input lag and fantastic color and brightness. It also has great contrast, supports Dolby Vision, and has a very good and accurate Google Assistant.

However, the viewing angles aren’t great, the built-in audio is subpar, and the motion smoothing can be a bit too much.
