The LG UP7000 is an excellent TV for most use-cases, thanks to its wide viewing angles, fantastic upscaling, and superb reflection handling. However, it is somewhat held back because of its lack of HDMI 2.1 and VRR.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The LG UP7000 is LG’s entry-level 4K TV released in 2021. It boasts an IPS panel that can theoretically deliver wider viewing angles compared to VA TVs. In addition, despite IPS panels generally coming with lower contrast, LG claims to provide a high contrast screen with this TV. And it also features LG’s easy-to-use WebOS UI for fluid navigation. All in all, it is very well-positioned for budget-conscious buyers who are just looking for a decent 4K TV. Keep reading our LG UP7000 review until the end to discover what experts said about this TV. And if an entry-level IPS LCD TV is not what you’re after, take a look at the other best rated TVs available today.
