The Logitech G733 Lightspeed Wireless excels for gaming purposes. They produce good audio and allow users to adjust sound extensively through the companion app. While they are comfy and have a good battery life, the mic is subpar for recording.

Product Snapshot
Overview
The Logitech G733 headphones were first announced in 2020 as mid-level headsets that are distinctly designed to impress gamers. The boom mic on this headset is detachable, and even though the headset lacks noise canceling, it does have a companion app for sound adjustments. Unlike most best gaming headsets, the G733 headphones also don’t have Bluetooth connectivity, but they have a 29-hour battery life. They have well-padded earcups for comfort, and their special PRO-G drivers are designed to limit outside distortion.
Controls are on the left and right ear cups. The headphones take about 4.4 hours to charge and weigh only 0.62 pounds, but unfortunately, they don’t work with Xbox consoles.
The Logitech G733 Lightspeed Wireless is a great option for gamers. When it comes to audio clarity, the frequency response range of 20-20,000 Hz means sound comes across accurately at all levels. Likewise, if gamers want to adjust their sound to meet specific needs, the Logitech G Hub companion software has extensive alteration options, including a graphic EQ.
The biggest pitfall of the headset is the mic’s sound quality. We rated the mic 6.8 out of 10, which places it in the bottom half of our certified tested headsets. However, the headset’s design is very comfortable and great for long listening sessions, given its comfy memory foam earcups and specially designed headband. Lastly, it has an impressive 21.3-hour battery life.
ReasonS to Buy
Well-Balanced Audio Quality
Game audio comes across clearly across frequency ranges. They have a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hz, meaning bass, mids, and trebles all come through without trouble or distortion.
Comfortable Fit
The headphones are ideal for long gaming sessions, as they are lightweight with a supportive headband for weight distribution. The earcups are padded with high-quality memory foam and have good depth so as not to cause ear fatigue.
Robust Companion App
Gamers can tweak sound profiles to their liking, as the Logitech G Hub has many amazing features for sound customization, like a graphic EQ, multiple presets, and a specific BLUE VO!CE feature for adjusting mic settings in detail.
Reason to Avoid
Subpar Mic Recording Performance
The microphone struggles to produce natural and clear recordings. The mic recording quality is rated 6.8 out of 10, in the bottom half of our certified tested mics.

The Logitech G733 Lightspeed headphones are very different from the Logitech G735 headphones in design, and they’re also available in black, blue, lilac, or white color options. In contrast, the G735 headphones only exist in white. Also easily noticeable is that the G733 headphones are much larger than the G735 headphones in size, though the G735 headphones have Bluetooth connectivity, which the G733 lightspeed wireless headphones do not. Lastly, the Logitech G735 headphones are compatible with the Xbox console, while the G733 headphones are not. Check out our Logitech G735 review for more info on them.

The Logitech G733 Lightspeed headphones have better sound leakage performance than the Logitech G535 headphones, so the G733 is a better option for listening without disrupting whoever’s around. The G733 headphones also have a detachable boom mic, unlike the one on the G535 headphones. However, the G535 headphones have a much shorter charge time of 1.4 hours compared to the G733’s, which take up to 4.4 hours to get to a full charge. Take a look at our Logitech G535 lightspeed review to find out what else they have to offer.

While the Logitech G733 headphones and the HyperX Cloud 2 wireless headphones have a companion app, sound can only be customized on the Logitech G Hub app, not the HyperX Ngenuity app. However, the HyperX Cloud 2 headphones have a longer 30-hour battery compared to the Logitech G733 headphones, which last up to 29 hours.
