Consensus

our Verdict

The Logitech G735 is a great option for a wireless gaming headset. The audio delivers highly precise mid-range sounds and dialogue and is accompanied by powerful bass. However, the treble can be slightly uneven at louder volumes. However, for PC gaming, the headphones experience high latency, which is tested at 252 ms, which means the audio and visuals get out of sync during gameplay. This latency is much higher than that of the average wireless gaming headset.

The headphones have an excellent battery life that lasts over 28.8 hours, putting them among the top gaming headsets. It also boasts great comfortability, with comfy and non-restrictive padding on the headband and large earcups that don’t result in fatigue. However, the headphones run on the smaller side, so those with larger heads should note.

ReasonS to Buy

  • Good Audio Quality
    • Gamers experience powerful bass, clear dialogue, and vocals during gameplay, given that the headset has a 20-20,000 Hz frequency range.

  • Supreme Comfort
    • Gamers can play comfortably for long sessions, given the headphones have a headband and earcups padded with quality cushion. Additionally, the earcups are spacious, and the adjustable headband makes it ergonomically fit for long use.

  • High-performance microphone
    • Gamers can communicate clearly and record high-quality content with the mic, as it delivers natural vocals. The headset’s mic quality was rated 8.3/10, placing it in the top 25% of gaming headsets.

    • The headset comes with a dedicated BLUE VO!CE feature that enhances mic quality and filters out surrounding commotion to enhance mic output.

  • Excellent App Support
    • The Logitech G Hub helps gamers customize sound by providing a selection of a 5-band graphic EQ, as well as sidetone level selection and adjustable RGB lighting.

Reason to Avoid

  • High Latency for Gaming
    • When plugged into gaming devices, like PCs, the headphones experience a delay between audio and visuals. It has a 252 ms gaming latency, which is on the lower end of the gaming headset category.

Unfortunately, the Logitech G735 headphones don’t ship with a pouch for easy carrying, and this sets them apart from the Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless XT headphones, which do. The surround sound technology used by the two headphones is also different since the G735 headphones use DTS: Headphone:X 2.0, while the Corsair headphones use Dolby Atmos.
